Why, you might ask? Because my sister wanted to see it. Why she wanted to see it, I don't know. We've had the movie for almost 2 months. My sister got it from a friend who bought it off of Ebay.
Let me tell you something: the Japanese bootleg that I have is MUCH better than the one that has been dubbed into English. First of all, my bootleg doesn't have Pikachu's Stupid Vacation attached to it. I view that as a good thing. Pikachu's Stupid Vacation was a 30-minute-long acid trip, and a bad one at that.
As for the movie itself, the CG parts were REALLY fake. And they cut out some of the best lines, such as "Oh yes, we should look at the moon now, since it's so philosophical. That's very appropriate." Well, ok that wasn't the EXACT quote, but it was something VERY close to that. I can't remember, and I really don't feel like watching an hour and a half of those androgynous freaks romping around.
Not to mention that they said "Who's that Pokemon?" as often as they could.
And the theatre was full of children. I DESPISE CHILDREN.
In conclusion, never see this movie. It SUCKS.
